The price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a massive decline of Rs5,400 on Thursday, reflecting global market trends following the victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential election 2024.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs5,400, settling at Rs276,800, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by a huge Rs4,630, taking it to Rs237,311.

In the international market also, the price of gold dropped by a massive $65 on Thursday, reaching $2,662 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices in the local market also dropped by Rs130, and reached Rs3,300 per tola.
