In a significant initiative, Huawei, with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), has launched a comprehensive training program to equip 300,000 Pakistani youth with advanced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills.
The program aims to elevate the technical education standards in Pakistan by integrating global expertise and modern training resources into the local education system.
This initiative stems from a series of agreements made during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to China, where a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission and Huawei.
The collaboration will focus on enhancing the technical capabilities of Pakistan's youth, offering them improved employment opportunities, and ultimately contributing to the nation's economic uplift.
By introducing cutting-edge ICT training, Huawei’s program seeks to drive innovation and development in Pakistan's technology sector, ensuring long-term benefits for both the youth and the broader economy.
The program reflects Huawei’s commitment to bring positive changes to Pakistan's technical education landscape, which will not only empower the country's youth but also provide stability and growth to the economy.
This initiative from SIFC and Huawei is a significant step toward transforming Pakistan’s technological education framework and strengthening the country’s workforce.
