The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North), in collaboration with other agencies, is actively conducting successful anti-smuggling operations across various regions of Balochistan.
Between September 16 and October 16, 2024, attempts to smuggle illegal goods were thwarted in several areas, including Dera Murad Jamali, Barkhan, Pishin, Chaman, Nushki, Zhob, and Panjpai.
The seized items included 66 metric tons of sugar, 5,320 litres of Iranian diesel, 772 tyres, 29 metric tons of milk powder, and 6 metric tons of betel nuts.
Additionally, various other items, such as non-customs paid vehicles, cigarettes, and Chinese salt, were confiscated and handed over to customs authorities.
Smugglers were attempting to transport these goods using trucks, passenger buses, and through secret routes. However, timely action by FC Balochistan (North) successfully prevented these smuggling efforts.
