A three-day bike rally aimed at promoting tourism in Gorakh Hill, Sindh, concluded on October 1. Organized by the Tourism Department, the event highlighted the significance of Gorakh Hill as a major tourist attraction in the province.
The rally commenced on September 28 from Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi, with over 70 participants riding various heavy bikes and jeeps. The convoy traveled through different regions of Sindh before reaching its final destination, Gorakh Hill.
Upon completion of the rally, the Tourism Minister distributed gifts among the participants, recognizing their contribution to the event's success.
Participants stated that the rally's objectives were twofold: to promote tourism in Sindh by showcasing its natural beauty and to create economic opportunities for the local population of Gorakh Hill.
This initiative reflects the government's efforts to boost domestic tourism and draw attention to lesser-known destinations within Sindh. The event not only highlighted the scenic route from Karachi to Gorakh Hill but also emphasized the potential for adventure tourism in the region.
The successful completion of the rally may pave the way for similar events in the future, potentially attracting more visitors to Gorakh Hill and surrounding areas.
