Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has temporarily suspended its flight operations to Turkiye, according to sources.
The suspension, which began on September 28, is expected to last until at least October 13.
PIA, which operates four weekly flights from Islamabad and Lahore to Turkiye, halted operations due to non-payment issues concerning inventory and airport slots, sources revealed. As a result, no flights will be operating to Turkiye during this period.
The suspension affects a key international route for PIA, which has been striving to maintain regular operations amid financial challenges. Passengers who had booked flights to Turkiye are advised to stay updated for further developments and rescheduling options.
