The Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South recently organized a grand jirga of Mehsud tribal elders in Tank district. The gathering, attended by 64 tribal leaders and religious scholars, focused on addressing long-standing issues in the Jandola Tehsil of Tank district.
Major General Mehr Omar Khan Niazi, Inspector General of Frontier Corps KP South, was the chief guest at the event. He stressed the importance of resolving persistent problems faced by the residents of Jandola Tehsil. The IG FC also commended the tribal elders for their efforts in maintaining peace in the region.
Participants expressed gratitude towards the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps KP South for their initiatives to transform Jandola into a business hub. They also pledged their support in countering extremist elements and maintaining regional stability.
The jirga provided a platform for local leaders to discuss various issues with military officials, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between tribal communities and security forces in the area.
