Punjab Law Minister Sohaib Ahmed Bharth said on Friday that there had been no discussion or proposal regarding the transfer of the PTI founder's case to a military court within the provincial cabinet or the Ministry of Law.
Speaking to media at the Chief Minister's House, Bherth emphasised that the introduction of e-tendering for the first time in the Ministry of Communications aims to curb corruption effectively. He made it clear that the e-tendering system was designed to ensure transparency and fairness in the procurement process, eliminating corruption opportunities by adhering strictly to PEPRa rules.
"Despite the transition of government, ongoing projects from the PTI era continue without interruption."
He affirmed that the government maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and is committed to upholding integrity in all governmental dealings.
