Lahore will observe a local holiday on Monday in honor of the Urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh.
According to details, Lahore DEA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pervaiz Akhtar has issued a directive mandating that all private schools and academies remain closed.
Akhtar announced that no educational institution in Lahore would be operational on this day.
He emphasized that any institution found in violation of this order will be sealed. "
"To ensure compliance, the committees have been formed to inspect private schools, with over 60 officers assigned to monitor educational institutions across Lahore," Akhtar said.
He underscored the importance of adhering to this directive and has mobilized significant resources to enforce the closure and ensure that the local holiday is observed without exception.
