On the 77th Independence Day of Pakistan, mosques across the nation held special Quran recitations and prayers, seeking the country’s security, prosperity, and the eradication of terrorism.
The day began with Fajr prayers, where worshippers offered heartfelt supplications for peace, stability, and the development of Pakistan.
Special Quran recitations were organized to honor the martyrs of the Pakistan Freedom Movement, whose sacrifices, by the grace of God Almighty, granted the nation its independence. During these ceremonies, tributes were paid to both the martyrs and the Ghazis of Tehreek Pakistan, acknowledging their enduring legacy.
The observances also included expressions of solidarity with those who continue to protect and defend the nation, recognizing the ongoing sacrifices made for the security of Pakistan.
Peshawar Corps Commander
A special ceremony was organized by the Pakistan Army for the families of the martyrs in Peshawar on the occasion of Independence Day.
The relatives of the martyrs and other participants placed flowers on the martyrs' memorial. Students of Army Public School and Special Children's School of Peshawar also participated in the ceremony
Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Umar Ahmed Bukhari was the chief guest of the event Students presented songs, speeches and tableaus on the occasion of Independence Day
The students paid great tribute to the eternal sacrifices of the elders for the establishment of Pakistan and its achievement. The participants also paid tribute to the endless sacrifices of the Pakistan Army for the survival and integrity of the motherland and reiterated their commitment to stand by the side of the Pakistan Army.
At the end of the ceremony, a beautiful fireworks display was performed.
