Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) began a sit-in at Faizabad on July 13, starting from Liaquat Bagh. The protest is based on three main demands, primarily focusing on providing aid to Palestine and banning Israeli products.
Prior to the sit-in, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) had already sent eight aid shipments to Palestine, and several Israeli products had been banned.

The road blockade has caused severe traffic jams, leading to significant inconvenience for citizens. Many have expressed frustration, stating that the purpose of the sit-in is unclear, as the government had already met the stated demands.
Public concerns include:
- Patients unable to reach hospitals on time
- Employees facing difficulties reaching offices
- An ambulance reportedly delayed due to blocked routes
- All routes from Islamabad to Rawalpindi being closed
Citizens have questioned the necessity of the protest, given the government's ongoing support for Palestine and pre-existing actions addressing the protesters' demands.
