Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Ghauhar Ali Khan said the Supreme Court of Pakistani (SCP) verdict reserved seats case veracity brought happiness to democratic people of Pakistan.
“The decision will be remembered in history. We got our right. They were saying that our rights were being attacked. Today, 11 judges gave a decision in our favor,” he said.
“The decision has come in the ratio of 8 and 5,’ he added.
“There is a demand from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to issue court orders. Our intraparty certificate should be issued this week.
“The greatest contribution was from KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. He delayed the oath in the KP Assembly. There is no question of re-election,” the PTI chairman said.
“By reading the dissenting notes, Faiz Isa did not do anything strange,” he commented on CJP Wazi Faez Isa reading the dissenting note of Justice Jamal Mandohel.
PTI counsel in the SIC reserved seat case Salman Akram Raja said: “Today is a golden day in the history of Pakistan. We have won the legal war and will win the democratic war too.”
“Our goal is to bring democracy to Pakistan,” he said. PTI former senator Shibli Faraz said that the incumbent government was formed under Form-45 and demanded to ‘return’ the mandate.
