Samina Baig, a prominent young Pakistani mountaineer, has been transferred to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi from Skardu via a special C130 flight. The Pakistan Army facilitated her rescue on July 7 due to health complications during an international climbing mission.
Baig is currently under intensive care at CMH Rawalpindi, where a team of Pakistan Army doctors and paramedical staff are continuously monitoring her condition. According to reports, her condition is now stable and showing gradual improvement.
