Westerly winds have brought a welcome relief to Lahore as temperatures dropped significantly due to the onset of monsoon winds since Thursday.
According to the Met Department, this marks the beginning of the monsoon season in the country, with rains expected to commence from July 3 onwards.
Chief Meteorologist Shahid Abbas highlighted that the monsoon rains will not only bring relief from the intense heat but also lower the overall temperature across the region.
Currently, the country is experiencing a mix of cloudy and sunny weather throughout the day, a pattern expected to persist in the coming days.
