The Met Department has issued an advisory predicting rainfall in various regions of Pakistan from now until July 1, urging all relevant institutions to make emergency arrangements in anticipation of potential flooding and storm damage.
According to the advisory, interior Sindh is expected to experience rain and storms from today until July 1. The department forecasts rain and thundershowers in several districts of Punjab from June 27 to July 1.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is also likely to receive rain and heavy showers at some locations between June 28 and July 1. Additionally, certain areas of Balochistan may witness rainfall from June 26 to June 28.
The advisory warns of possible flooding in rivers located in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Kashmir, due to the expected heavy rains.
The Met Department has directed all concerned institutions to take emergency measures to address any adverse effects caused by the predicted weather conditions.
