The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced an opportunity for students to embark on a fully funded study and placement program in China.
This six-month initiative is open to both undergraduate and graduate students, aiming to provide a transformative educational experience that fosters cross-cultural understanding and enhances professional skills.

Scholarship overview
The program is available for Bachelor, Masters, and PhD levels across all fields of study. It is a merit-based scholarship offered locally by the HEC, and is open to students from all regions of Pakistan. Interested candidates must submit their applications by June 15, 2024.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, undergraduate, masters, and doctoral candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 3 out of 4. Postgraduate students (MS & PhD) must have completed their coursework and apply within specified disciplines. Undergraduate students must be in the final year of their degree program and also apply within specified disciplines.
Additionally, applicants must possess an acceptance letter from a Chinese university ranked within the top 500 according to QS, THE, or Shanghai Rankings, and obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent university for the six-month placement in China.
Age limit
The age limit for undergraduates is set at 25 years, for Masters programs at 35 years, and for Doctoral programs at 40 years.
