The Pakistan Coast Guards successfully intercepted a large consignment of high-quality hashish in the Jiwani area of Gwadar, Balochistan. Acting on a tip-off, the forces seized 1,176 kilograms of hashish being smuggled in a single-cabin vehicle.
The operation resulted in the confiscation of the vehicle and the substantial drug haul, valued at $19.62 million in the international market. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspects involved.
The Pakistan Coast Guards reiterated their commitment to combating drug trafficking and ensuring the region remains free from such illicit activities. They have vowed to continue their efforts to eradicate drug smuggling in the future.
