K-electric spokesperson cleared the air and claimed electricity supply in Karachi continues as usual and there was no unannounced load shedding.
“Load shedding is being announced as per the schedule given on the website,” the spokesperson said.
“It is not correct to equate regional faults with load-shedding,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson of the electric supply company said load shedding depends on the rate of power theft and losses in the area.
