Another case has been registered against the former prime minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Illyas.
A case was registered in the cybercrime wing of the FIA. The case was registered under Sections 9, 10 and 20 of the PICA Act, 2016.
As per the FIR, Tanveer Illyas spread anti-state propaganda through social media and also targeted the state of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) through social media.
The FIR stated the misleading campaign aimed to incite public unrest and anti-government.

Former prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has been released from Adiala Jail.
The release occurred amid dramatic scenes as police officials attempted to arrest him again at Gate 3 of the prison. However, the efforts to re-arrest Ilyas were thwarted by his supporters.
According to witnesses, a group of Tanveer Ilyas's supporters had gathered outside the jail to welcome him upon his release. When police officials tried to detain him again, the supporters quickly intervened, preventing the arrest. They quickly escorted him into a car and departed from the jail premises, successfully evading the police.
