A grand jirga was convened in Zhob district, Balochistan, with attendees including members of FC Balochistan (North), local tribal leaders, and military and civil officials.
The jirga was led by IG FC Balochistan (North), Major General Chaudhry Ameer Ajmal, who highlighted the significance of security and border management.
The tribal leaders commended the successful operations against terrorists and pledged their full support to the Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan.
They also urged the civil administration to enhance the capacity of the police and levies force to ensure peace and stability in the region.
Discussions during the jirga covered the overall security situation in the area and the management of the Pak-Afghan border.
The tribal leaders stressed the importance of cooperation between security forces and local tribes in the fight against terrorism.
