Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) spokesperson said that security forces carried out an operation in Sambaza, border area of Zhob, on January 11 wherein a terrorist was gunned down.
The dead terrorist was identified as Mohammad Khan Ahmad Khel —a resident of Bilorai village in Wazikhwa district of Paktika province, Afghanistan.
The body of the dead terrorist was handed over to Afghan authorities yesterday, the ISPR press statement read.
“Such incidents are clear evidence of Afghan citizens' terrorism in Pakistan. It is hoped that the interim Afghan government will fulfill its responsibilities,” the Pakistan Armed Forces media wing said in a statement.
ISPR said it is expected that Afghan soil will not be used against Pakistan for terrorism,
