The Karachi Board of Secondary Education's annual matriculation exams will kick off tomorrow (Tuesday), amidst students and parents struggling to obtain admit cards.
A large number of students and parents are facing difficulties in obtaining admit cards from the matriculation board.
Students allege that schools have not provided the admit cards, arguing that it is the responsibility of both the school and the board.
A spokesperson for the Karachi Board of Secondary Education stated that the supply of admit cards has been ongoing continuously since April 30th. Schools that have submitted the forms online can print them out online.
He added that students attempting to submit their exam forms will not be allowed to do so.
Regarding the submission of exam forms with late fees for Karachi's 9th and 10th grades, Khalid Ehsaan, the Conductor of the Karachi Examinations Board of Secondary Education, stated that forms will be accepted until May 10th. He also mentioned that the remaining papers will be administered from May 7th to May 11th after the exams.
Khalid Ehsaan emphasized that no discounts will be given for late fee deductions and no examination forms will be accepted after the due date.
