Sindh Education Minister and Minister of Universities and Boards held a meeting regarding board exams and decided to impose Section 133 around the examination centers for matric and intermediate board exams.
It has been decided to confiscate the mobile phones of students if they bring them into the examination centers.
The huddle reviewed matriculation and intermediate board examination arrangements. It was told in the meeting, that all preparations are completed for matric exams which are being held in the first week of May, and intermediate exams at the end of May.
As per the arrangement, 250 matric examination centers have been set up in which 350,198 candidates will take the examination whereas 290,220 candidates will appear for the intermediate exam in Karachi.
Muhammad Ali Malkani said security arrangements assistance will be taken from the Sindh Interior Ministry.
“A recommendation will be made regarding the implementation of Section 144 around the examination centers,” Minister Universities and Boards Sindh.
Muhammad Ali Malkani said that vigilance teams should play an effective role in all cases to monitor the examination preparations.
Malkani warned if any paper leak complaint would be received then action would be taken against the chairman of the board.
All possible cooperation will be done by the education department with the boards, the education minister vowed.
