Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif felicitated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Oman's Sultan His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq on the auspicious occasion of Eidul Fitr.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey over the phone on Tuesday to extend warm Eid-ul Fitr greetings.
During the call, both leaders exchanged heartfelt Eid wishes and expressed hopes for peace, prosperity, and unity among the people of Pakistan and Turkey.
Highlighting the deep-rooted and historical ties between their nations, the Prime Minister reiterated his dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors of mutual interest.
They reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to supporting each other on crucial national interests and joined in calling for peace in Palestine. The Prime Minister also renewed his invitation for President Erdogan to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience.
The proposed visit would facilitate the convening of the 7th session of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC), slated to occur in the near future.

Highlighting the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and Oman, PM Shehbaz emphasised the vast potential for collaboration across various sectors.

He prayed for solidarity within the Ummah and condemned the ongoing atrocities against Palestinians by Israel.
Meanwhile, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq reciprocated the Eid greetings and conveyed his well wishes for the people of Pakistan.
Both leaders reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation for mutual economic benefits.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif cordially invited Sultan Haitham to visit Pakistan, to which His Majesty responded by extending an invitation for the Prime Minister to visit Oman.
