The High Court Bar Association Abbottabad Bench has supported the establishment of the inquiry commission under the leadership of Tassaduq Jillani and criticised the demand for the resignation of the Chief Justice and the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court as unconstitutional.
The High Court Bar Association Bahawalpur has deemed the appointment of Tassaduq Jillani as the head of the inquiry commission as commendable and pledged that the legal fraternity stands with the Chief Justice and the Chief Justice of the High Court, while condemning the demand for resignation by a political party.

Immediate investigations should be conducted by this forum into the allegations leveled by six judges of the Islamabad High Court, as discussed and decided in the recent meeting of the esteemed Chief Justice of Pakistan. If these allegations prove to be true, they pose a grave threat to the institution, necessitating serious action.
Judges must be provided with secrecy and protection, which is the primary responsibility of the state.
Other institutions should not have any authority to intervene in the judiciary in any way; their fundamental responsibility is to assist in strengthening the judiciary. Any threat or action aimed at weakening the judiciary should be met with severe consequences.
The PBC reiterated that the Pakistan Bar Council and the legal fraternity stand firmly with the Chief Justice of Pakistan and the entire judiciary of Pakistan.
Furthermore, the PBC expressed its unwavering support for the judiciary as an institution, ensuring its integrity and freedom.
A retired Chief Justice of Pakistan, Tassaduq Jillani, has been appointed to head the commission to investigate these allegations, and they welcome and support this decision.
They have also decided to convene a general body meeting of the legal fraternity soon for further deliberation on this matter.
The legal fraternity stands united with the judiciary and aims to identify appropriate solutions for safeguarding the judiciary's interests.

According to an announcement issued by the Punjab Bar Council, Vice Chairman Kamran Bashir Mughal and Deputy Chairman Pir Imran Akram Bodla of the Executive Committee of the Punjab Bar Council presided over a meeting held on March 30.
In the meeting, it was collectively decided by the members of the PbBC any pressure on the judiciary would not be acceptable under any circumstances. Furthermore, it was also decided that no permission would be granted to secret agencies to interfere in judicial matters. The PbBC has condemned such actions.
Every institution should remain within its constitutional limits. The Bar Council has always played its role in ensuring the supremacy of the constitution and an independent judiciary.
It is demanded that all institutions in the country fulfill their duties based on the principle of non-interference while staying within their constitutional jurisdictions.
This approach is beneficial for the country and the nation. The PbBC has welcomed the nomination of former chief justice of Pakistan, Tassaduq Jillani, as the head of the inquiry commission, as he is widely respected for his integrity and impartiality as a judge.

The recommendations made by him will strengthen the independence and dignity of the judiciary, and he should organise his recommendations and implement them, thereby closing the door to agency interference in judicial matters forever.

The Peshawar High Court Bar Association had express satisfaction over the establishment of an inquiry commission to investigate the allegations against the federal cabinet and the appointment of Tassaduq Jillani as its head.
In a statement issued by the Bar, it was stated that it is an undeniable fact that Tassaduq Jillani, through his decisions, has always upheld the supremacy of the constitution and the rule of law without any compromise, and due to his impartial decisions, he is viewed with the utmost respect in society.
The Peshawar High Court Bar Association expects that as the head of the inquiry commission, Tassaduq Jillani will utilise all his capabilities to prepare a comprehensive report regarding the allegations, leaving no deficiencies in determining the responsible parties.
Regarding the demand for resignation from a specific group's Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, it is entirely baseless and unconstitutional, deserving condemnation.
The Peshawar High Court Bar Association appreciated the actions of the Chief Justice of Pakistan and the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court for upholding the supremacy of the constitution and the rule of law, and assures them of full cooperation in all respects.

The High Court Bar Association Abbottabad has issued a statement according to which, the High Court Bar Association Islamabad fully supports the commission formed under the guidance of Tassaduq Jillani, approved by the federal government. The bar expects that after reviewing the letter written by the judges of the Islamabad High Court, the commission will conduct a thorough inquiry within 60 days, addressing the allegations made in the letter with transparency.
If the allegations are proven true, the directive is to recommend legal action against individuals or institutions and refrain from interfering in judicial matters.
It is hoped that the commission will propose measures to prevent any future interference by individuals or institutions in judicial affairs.
Furthermore, it was stated that demanding resignation from the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court and Chief Justice of Pakistan is entirely unconstitutional and strongly condemned.

During the meeting, it was unanimously decided that no pressure on the judiciary would be tolerated under any circumstances, and neither would clandestine agencies be allowed to interfere in judicial matters. The High Court Bar Association of Multan condemns such actions.
