Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Thursday denounced Donald Lu's statement.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail in Islamabad, Khan said: "Whatever Donald Lu has said is a lie. There is a need to launch a probe again in this regard."
"Former ambassador Asad Majeed should give his opinion on the statement of Donald Lu," he said.
"We have full confidence in the courts," he added.
Khan said: "The PTI founder had said that the current government can run maximum for five months."

Meanwhile, PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry asserted that the rulers were looking to push the country to the verge of default.
Expressing his thoughts in Lahore, Chaudhry said: "Those who are responsible for the economic woes and political instability in the country will not be forgiven.".
"The country's institutions and assets are being sold on the conditions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF)," said Chaudhry.
He stated: "The PTI founder had formed one independent foreign policy. Following the statement of Donald Lu, the elections have no more worth. Donald Lu has talked about the irregularities in the recently held elections".
