The inaugural flight by SkyWings Aviation, which took off from Karachi, treated passengers to a breathtaking aerial view of the city during its 45-minute journey. The taxi is aimed at facilitating air travel for both adventure and emergency health situations.
The air taxi service has been initially launched from different airports of Sindh and Balochistan, offering swift and efficient travel options for both emergency situations and recreational purposes.
SkyWings Aviation CEO Imran Aslam Khan, expressed his vision for the service, stating that it will soon extend to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, catering to a broader spectrum of travellers across Pakistan.
Imran Aslam Khan highlighted the affordability and accessibility of the air taxi service, with three passengers able to enjoy an aerial view of Karachi for 95 thousand rupees per hour. Beyond providing a convenient mode of transportation, experts believe that the air taxi service will also play a pivotal role in promoting tourism, showcasing the scenic beauty of Pakistan from a unique vantage point.
