"Such is my commitment to principles that I refuse to occupy the seat of PS-129. The recent Karachi mayor's election and subsequent general elections have been damaged by fraudulent activities," he added.
Furthermore, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman raised suspicions about the outcomes of various electoral contests, asserting that independent candidates affiliated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had got disproportionately high votes.
He also cast doubt on the electoral prospects of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), suggesting that their chances of victory were non.
The leader of Jamaat-e-Islami underscored several irregularities in the polling process, including delayed start times at polling stations and alleged tampering with surveillance cameras and ballot boxes in certain locations.
He called upon the Election Commission and relevant institutions to investigate these allegations thoroughly.
