"I believe Godse was a nationalist, never an enemy of the country," Sakshi Maharaj.
Hindu extremist Ashok Sharma dedicated his life in support of Nathuram Godse's activities, Arab News reported.
The Modi government also commended Gandhi's assassin during its election campaign, The Guardian reported.
According to BJP's Hindu nationalist leadership in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Nathuram Godse was a 'patriot.'
Hindu supremacist organization, Hindu Mahasabha's National Secretary Devendra Pandey, stated that Godse did the right thing by killing Gandhi, The Guardian."
