Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Thursday expressed optimism about defeating Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in the forthcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.
Addressing the public gathering in Buner, Barrister Gohar said, ‘’The masses in 2024 have now become politically enlightened. We will end the horse trading in politics.’’
‘’We are optimistic that now the masses can form the government,’’ he said.
Barrister Gohar berated former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister Mahmood Khan, asserting: ‘’Mahmood Khan had betrayed the PTI founder’’.
Few days back, Barrister Gohar said that it is time for a ceasefire.
Speaking to foreign media, Barrister Gohar said, ‘’The PTI founder has told us to negotiate with everybody. However, there is a lack of trust and communication to hold negotiations.’’
Barrister Gohar emphasised the need for ending strained relationships with everybody.
