A substantial repatriation initiative has witnessed the voluntary return of more than 468,000 Afghan nationals from Pakistan by January 14, 2024.
The ongoing effort reflects a collaborative endeavour to address the complex challenges faced by illegal Afghan immigrants in Pakistan.
On 14 January, 837 Afghan citizens bid farewell to Pakistan, marking a milestone in the repatriation campaign.

This group included 243 men, 206 women, and 388 children, symbolizing a diverse cross-section of the Afghan population opting for the journey back to their homeland.
The comprehensive operation comprised the deployment of 52 vehicles, facilitating the return of 87 families to Afghanistan.
The focus of this concerted effort is to ensure the safe and voluntary repatriation of Afghan nationals, addressing both humanitarian concerns and migration issues.
