Despite swirling rumours and eager fans, power couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are pumping the brakes on wedding bells.
Although they're "very happy" together, sources close to the pair report they have no plans for a summer engagement, let alone anytime soon.
US Weekly broke the news, explaining that while Swift and Kelce are deeply enjoying their romance, they're focused on soaking it in, and not thinking of getting engaged "this summer or anytime soon". Apparently, the couple acknowledges the excitement some friends and family have for their future, potentially even expecting a near-future engagement. However, they prioritise taking their time and learning more about each other before making any big commitments.
This news comes after whispers of a possible summer engagement, during Kelce's NFL off-season and Swift's European leg of her Eras Tour. But it seems that for now, these two stars are content staying in the "enchanted" phase of their relationship, letting the fireworks sizzle without rushing towards the grand finale.
So, Swifties, hold onto your white dress dreams for a bit longer. While Taylor and Travis may eventually walk down the aisle, it seems they're more interested in writing the present chapters of their love story than fast-forwarding to the happily ever after.
