Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) spokesperson Faisal Karim Kundi asserted on Saturday that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman wants to escape elections by making excuses for the country’s situation.
Expressing his thoughts in Dera Ismail Khan, Kundi said: “We want the conduct of the general elections in a peaceful way. There can be political differences, but there is no chance of personal differences.”
''We will have to bludgeon the opponents by uniting everybody,'' he said.
Meanwhile, five Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) tehsil nazims joined the PPP.
