Two people were killed and another two injured in an accident when their jeep plunged into a ditch in the Ghanol area of Balakot.

Earlier, nine persons including a woman and her eight kids were burnt due to a house fire in the village of Teriri in Abbottabad. A fire broke out due to a short circuit in the house of Qalandarabad village in Terhiri.
The rescue team reached the spot and started a search operation and so far six bodies have been removed. A disaster vehicle with a team and a fire vehicle with fighters and three ambulances are involved in the rescue operation.
According to the instructions of Director General Dr. Khateer Ahmed, all resources are being used to rescue the people trapped under the debris, Rescue 1122.
Abbottabad Rescue 1122 Spokesman said the operation is being supervised by Emergency Officer Hafeezur Rahman himself.
