Former judge of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui has filed a miscellaneous application with the Supreme Court along with the case related to his dismissal from office.
The former judge has requested to make former army chief Gen (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa and former ISI head Faiz Hameed parties in the case related to his suspension.
A five-member Supreme Court bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, and comprising Justice Aminuddin, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Irfan Saadat, on Thursday heard an appeal against the suspension of Justice Siddiqui from office.

During the proceedings, the CJP remarked that no one should be accused and if someone is being accused, they should be made parties to the case.
At this, Siddiqui’s counsel Hamid Khan assured the court of amending the petition and adding the names of former ISI chief Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed and the then IHC chief justice Anwar Kasi as parties.
Siddiqui has now filed a miscellaneous petition in the Supreme Court, naming Bajwa and Hameed as parties, as well as Brig (retd) Irfan Ramay, Brig (retd) Tahir Wafai, Kasi and Supreme Court Registrar Arbab Arif.
