Internet services have been temporarily halted in response to a surge in violent clashes between Hindutva groups and Muslims in Maharashtra India.
According to reports from Kashmir Media Service, the conflict resulted in one fatality and 10 injuries as Hindutva individuals clashed with Muslims and ignited multiple houses in the Pusesavali region of Satara district.

The incident began when a resident of Pusesavali allegedly posted inflammatory content on social media, triggering anger and leading to confrontations marked by stone-pelting and stone-throwing, escalating the tension.
The violence, which involved stone-throwing and assaults using sticks and rods, claimed one life, and two individuals believed to be responsible for the objectionable posts have reportedly been detained by the police.
In response to the situation, the local administration has suspended internet services in Satara district.
As per Indian media reports, eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene where a large mob of more than a thousand Hindutva supporters rampaged through the area, targeting the homes, businesses, and carts belonging to Muslims.
The mob set houses on fire and engaged in acts of vandalism.
