Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Wednesday held a meeting after 15 years.
Both the political bigwigs held a meeting at Zahoor Elahi Road in Lahore, which lasted for 40 minutes. On this occasion, the country's political situation was underscored. Both leaders also discussed the possibility of partnership and seat adjustment with each other.
Sources divulged that initial discussions were made in line with the seat adjustment in the upcoming elections. The PML-Q had demanded the two NA and three Punjab Assembly seats in Chakwal and Bahawalpur.

The PML-Q asked the PML-N not to field its candidates in the constituencies where the PML-Q leaders had won elections in the past.

The discussion in line with Hussain Elahi's seat in Gujrat is expected to move forward.
Both the PML-N and PML-Q had agreed to form a committee in line with the political partnership and seat adjustment.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Shehbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, and Tariq Bashir Cheema.
