Tina Knowles, Beyonce's mother, has spoken out against accusations that American singer, songwriter, and businesswoman lightened her skin for the premiere of her film Renaissance.
She called these accusations "stupid, ignorant, and racist" and stated that Beyonce's premiere look was in line with the film's silver theme.
Knowles expressed her frustration with the critics, saying that they are "bozos" who are spreading "hate and jealousy".
She also defended her daughter's work ethic and talent and stated that she is a role model for "black women and underdogs".
Knowles provided more details about the accusations, saying that a US outlet had contacted Beyonce's hairstylist for a statement about the allegations.
She said that this made her "blood boil" and that she is "fed up" with people attacking her daughter.
Knowles reiterated that Beyonce is a talented and hard-working artist who helps people whenever she can.
She also stated that Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce is a great film that charts the singer's 39-date world tour of her 2022 Grammy-winning album.
