Imam Kaaba Saleh bin Abdullah bin Hameed, standing on Pakistani soil, gave a strong message to Israel that international forces should protect the sanctity of human lives and stop crimes in Gaza.
“Muslims are being massacred in the name of human rights in Gaza. Massacre of innocent people in Gaza is the blackest visit in human history,” he said.
“May Allah punish the wrongdoers with the most severe punishment,” the Imam said.
Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday for a six-day visit with the primary objective of strengthening the enduring and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
He will be leading the Friday prayer at the iconic Faisal Mosque.
Imam-e-Kaaba has a series of scheduled meetings with key figures, including the President, Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff, and other high-ranking officials. This emphasises the diplomatic significance attached to his visit.
Upon his arrival, prominent figures such as Federal Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Federal Minister for Education Madad Ali Sindhi, Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, along with several other senior officials, extended a warm welcome to Imam-e-Kaaba.
Interim education minister Madad Ali Sindh held a meeting with Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid.
The minister said: “Because of the holy cities of Medina and Makkah, Pakistan is having a great love and devotion for Saudi Arabia”.
“Reaching Pakistan is like visiting your own house. They want to see Pakistan as the state of Medina,” Imam-e-Kaaba said.
