– Uncertainty looms over Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah's participation in remainder of Asia Cup –
In line with the health and fitness challenges faced by Pakistan pacers Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, the Pakistan cricket management called up Shahnawaz Dahani and Zaman Khan as backup options.
Rauf and Naseem's participation in the remaining Asian Cup matches is uncertain due to injuries sustained by them during the Super Four stage match against India.
Rauf didn't bowl on the reserve day, while Naseem Shah left the field clutching his wrist after delivering the second ball of his final over.
Neither Haris nor Rauf were even sent to bat against India. The evaluations of their injuries are ongoing, and their availability for the remaining Asia Cup matches will be determined after assessment.
