Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar-led caretaker government on Wednesday night slashed the price of petrol by Rs2.04 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs6.47 per litre for the next fortnight.
The price of petrol has been slashed by Rs 2.04 per litre, whereas, price of high speed diesel (HSD) has also reduced by Rs 6.47 per litre. The new price of petrol is now Rs 281.34 per litre and HSD price is fixed at Rs 296.71 per litre.

The government also reduced the kerosene oil prices by Rs6.05 per liter to from Rs211.03 to Rs204.98 whereas the prices of light diesel oil have been slashed by Rs9.01 per liter from Rs189.46 to Rs.180.45.
The notification further stated that the new prices will come into effect from 12am (tonight, November 16) and remain in place till November 30.
