The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a substantial reward of $260,000 for the Pakistani cricket team, applauding their commendable performance in the ICC Men's World Cup 2023.
The hefty sum comes as a recognition of the team's triumphs against the Netherlands, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, despite a somewhat lackluster overall display leading to an early exit from the tournament.
Under the leadership of Captain Babar Azam, the Green Shirts managed to secure victories in four crucial encounters, showcasing their prowess on the global cricketing stage.
The prize money, equivalent to over Rs73 million in Pakistani currency.
