Four valiant sons of Pakistan, comprising an officer and three soldiers of the Pakistan Army, were laid to rest with full military honors after making the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty during a recent intelligence-based operation (IBO).
This operation was conducted by security forces in the general area of Tirah, located in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Khyber district.
The fallen heroes who embraced Shahadat while fighting gallantly against terrorists in the Intelligence-Based Operation in Tirah were:
- Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider (43 years old, resident of Islamabad)
- Naik Khushdil Khan (31 years old, resident of District Lakki Marwat)
- Naik Rafique Khan (27 years old, resident of District Charsadda)
- Lance Naik Abdul Qadir (33 years old, resident of District Murree)
The funeral prayers for these courageous soldiers were offered in Peshawar Garrison, with an outpouring of grief and gratitude from a nation that holds them in the highest regard.
Their final journey will lead them to their respective hometowns, where they will be laid to rest with the full military honors they so rightfully deserve.
Corps Commander Peshawar, along with a multitude of serving officers, Jawans, civil officials, and the general public, attended the funerals to pay their respects and honor the sacrifice of these brave souls.
