In a sudden turn of events, Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was rushed to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) on Monday due to complaints of chest pain.
The veteran politician was immediately attended to by medical professionals at the hospital's emergency department.
Medical examinations were swiftly conducted to assess Sheikh Rashid Ahmed's condition. Hospital sources reported that an electrocardiogram (ECG) was performed, revealing that his heart's electrical activity appeared to be normal.
Nevertheless, as a precautionary measure, the AML chief is being kept under observation at the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology.
