Pakistani social media personality Dania Shah and her husband Hakeem Shehzad have welcomed their first child together—a baby boy named Dayan.
The couple recently shared the news with fans through a celebratory vlog, giving a glimpse into the gifts they received and the emotional moments surrounding the baby’s arrival. But the celebration quickly turned sour.
The vlog, meant to capture the joy of new parenthood, took an unexpected turn when Dania publicly criticized her husband for what she described as a publicity stunt. According to Dania, Shehzad pretended to gift their newborn son a car during the event—complete with a dramatic key handover—only to take it back later.
“The moment was supposed to be about my son, not a marketing gimmick,” Dania said in the video, visibly upset.
She alleged that Shehzad used the baby’s birth ceremony to divert attention to his other children’s weddings, adding that he didn’t even mention baby Dayan’s name throughout the event.
While Dania had personally gifted a gold chain to her son during the ceremony, she expressed her frustration over the lack of sincerity from her husband’s side. The couple, who tied the knot in July 2024, have been actively posting about their lives together, with Dania often sharing vlogs and updates with her followers.
She also showed gifts received from Shehzad’s first wife, pointing out how awkward the entire episode had become, especially given the focus should have remained on welcoming their newborn.
This is Dania’s second marriage. She was previously married to the late Aamir Liaquat Hussain in 2022, a union that became the subject of intense public scrutiny due to their 30-year age gap, contentious divorce proceedings, and controversies surrounding leaked content.
Following Aamir’s sudden death, Dania faced intense media backlash, but she eventually moved on with her life, marrying Shehzad of Loha Paar fame and continuing to grow her presence online.
While many congratulated Dania on the birth of baby Dayan, the vlog sparked a flurry of online criticism, with some viewers accusing her of turning a personal celebration into drama. Others defended her, applauding her courage to call out staged content in an era where social media often blurs the line between reality and performance.
Whether people support or criticize her, Dania Shah’s latest vlog has once again ignited debate over how far is too far when it comes to using personal milestones for digital content. For now, she’s standing her ground—and prioritizing her newborn son over online fame.
