Renowned singer and actress Selena Gomez has shared her thoughts on motherhood, expressing her love for children and excitement for the future.
Speaking in an interview alongside her fiancé, record producer Benny Blanco, on the Jay Shetty Podcast, Gomez reflected on her close bond with her younger sister and her natural affinity for children.
"I don’t know what will happen, obviously, but I love children. I have an 11-year-old sister that I absolutely adore," Gomez remarked. "I love making [children] laugh; they're just so sweet. So absolutely, when that day comes, I’m so excited for it."
Blanco, who has been in a relationship with Gomez since 2023, echoed her sentiments, highlighting how the Wizards of Waverly Place star always gravitates towards children in social settings. "Whenever there’s kids at a place, it’s the only time I see her do that. She immediately goes to the kids and has these conversations for hours," he revealed.
Blanco also reflected on how Gomez’s early career, which began with her appearances on Barney & Friends, shaped her deep connection with young audiences. "You shaped so many young people’s lives, whether it was Barney, Wizards… you’re still finding your way to do that," he noted.
The couple's relationship has been a subject of keen interest among fans, with the duo frequently sharing glimpses of their life together.
While they did not disclose specific plans for starting a family, Gomez’s enthusiasm has left fans speculating about the couple’s future.
