Legendary golfer Tiger Woods has confirmed his relationship with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of former US president Donald Trump.
The 82-time PGA Tour winner made the announcement via his social media, sharing two pictures with Vanessa—one where they stood side by side and another where they were seen together in a relaxed setting.
"Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!" Woods wrote. "We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts."
The news has sparked widespread interest, given Woods’ high-profile personal life and Vanessa’s past association with the Trump family.
Vanessa’s past marriage
Vanessa Trump was previously married to Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of the former US president. The couple tied the knot on November 12, 2005, at the Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
In March 2018, Vanessa filed for an uncontested divorce in New York, which was settled later that year. The couple shares five children, including their eldest daughter, Kai Trump, who is set to play golf at the University of Miami in 2026.
Woods’ past relationships
Woods, one of the most decorated golfers in history, was earlier married to Swedish model Elin Nordegren. The two divorced in 2010 following a high-profile scandal that affected both his personal and professional life.
Since then, Woods has been in relationships with American skiing champion Lindsey Vonn and Erica Herman. His relationship with Herman ended in a legal dispute, with Herman accusing Woods of unfairly evicting her from their shared residence. The lawsuit was later withdrawn.
Injury concerns
Meanwhile, Woods, who continues to battle injuries, recently underwent surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon. He revealed earlier in March that he had suffered a sharp pain while training, necessitating the procedure.
Despite his struggles with fitness, Woods remains an influential figure in the sport, with fans eager to see whether he will make a return to competitive golf in the near future.
