Earthquake tremors were felt in Swat and its surrounding areas, causing panic among residents. However, no immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received.
According to the National Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.3 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 173 kilometres. The epicentre was identified as the Hindu Kush mountain range.
The deep depth of the quake minimized its impact on the surface. Authorities continue to monitor the situation for any aftershocks.
