In a positive development for Pakistan’s aviation industry and tourism sector, preparations are underway to launch a new airline, South Air, dedicated to flights to the northern regions of the country.
The airline will operate two daily flights to Gilgit, Chitral, and Skardu. Initially, the flights will be operated from Islamabad and Lahore.
As part of its launch plan, South Air will begin its operations with two turboprop aircraft, ensuring improved connectivity to the scenic northern areas of Pakistan.
