Punjab Anti-Polio Program has devised a comprehensive plan to administer polio drops to children traveling during Eid, ensuring the prevention of the virus’s spread.
According to a program spokesperson, children entering Punjab will be given polio drops at designated locations across 13 districts of the province.
Special polio teams will be stationed at bus terminals, railway stations, hospitals, and shopping centers to facilitate vaccination.
The designated districts for the polio vaccination drive include Lahore, Rawalpindi, Attock, Mianwali, Multan, Faisalabad, and Sialkot.
Additionally, teams will be deployed in Gujranwala, Gujrat, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Okara, and Sahiwal, as well as Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Sargodha.
The deployment of polio teams will commence on March 22 and continue for 20 days to ensure maximum coverage and protection against the virus.
