The ongoing dry weather has led to a rise in temperatures across Punjab, including the provincial capital, Lahore, as a cloud system passed over the region without bringing any rainfall, the Meteorological Department said on Thursday.
According to the Met Office, the province continues to experience dry conditions, with temperatures gradually increasing due to the absence of rain. The minimum temperature in Lahore is expected to be around 19°C, while the maximum could reach 32°C.
As daytime temperatures remain high, nights are also expected to get warmer in the coming days. The dry spell is likely to persist, further intensifying heat levels in different parts of Punjab.
Officials have advised residents to take necessary precautions, particularly as the mercury is set to rise in the coming days.
